Student-teacher has a chance to observe six English classes. Three of them are in the Mattayom four and the rest is Mattayom 1. Mattayom here is the grade of students

         Preparation

Teacher still do manual lesson plan before teaching. Because most of the time they use text books, so the material are from the text books. The lesson plan will take the material based on the orderly topic on the text books.

        Classroom Management

Before teaching, teacher will give the students time to be quiet for preparing their mind in receiving the lesson. Sometimes, teacher will give a little story to them regarding their topic.

While teaching, teacher is always giving students clear explanation. As for the students who don’t understand, she will repeat her explanation slowly. Then, she gives short and clear instruction to any assignment or practice activities. If the students really crowded, there is microphone to be used. The traffic in the class is not really bad. There are only two until three students who ask for permission to go to wash their hand. Then, the class arrangement is fitted to the students. If the task is in group, they will sit in a circle. The chair could be use or not depends on the activity.

 

        Time Allocation

Teacher always started the class by preparing the students and the class. It is about 10 minutes. Then the main activity is about all the time 60-70 minutes, and for the closing is about 20 minutes. 20 minutes is for the homework instruction if any.

       

        Teacher-Students’ interactions

Teacher-students’ interaction is good. The students don’t seem nervous while asking the teacher. The teacher is also not really strict to them. They keep a warm relationship.
