Day 2: Ceremony

There is a says "teacher is our parents in school", in Thailand it is more than just a says. they really respect their teacher as their parents. Everywhere if they meet their teacher, they will always greet them first.

The first activity that we join is respect for teacher ceremony. It is a ceremony where the students give their thanks to the teacher by kneeling down and give flower -a kind of jasmine bouquet- to the teacher.

because we come as a teacher, we are invited to join the ceremony. I almost cry to see the process. In some places teacher haven't receive such a respect. Hence, I'm so amazed by this ceremony.
