Day 17: DIRGAHAYU INDONESIA

Such a great day...

how should i put my feelings in word....hmmm wonderful maybe?

Actually, if i were in Indonesia now, i might join the competition for celebrating our independence day. I initiate to sing our nationality anthem. Because, we couldn't do our ceremony like usual. So, i bring my indonesian flag to hold and we sing together.

other than singing our nationality anthem, we wear traditional clothes to celebrate independence day. As you know, Batik Indonesia is one of the famous things from Indonesia.

After doing a little ceremony, we go to the Asean Corner Exhibition which placed in the 6th floor of library building. We take some picture there and meet some students. When i passed some students near the comic book area, they recognized me as i ever come to their class. Then, they ask me some questions regarding my clothes. Because, i never wear that clothes in school. This is my chance to give them a new insight about Indonesian culture.

Next, i ask them what book that they read, seems like a legend book or some folk story. They tell me, they have a free time to read book in library. They like whenever they've been told by the teacher to go to the library. Then, i have a time to explain a little about the vocabulary in their book.
